Mama got this great walker from Ikea. It's one of the top 5 kids' items from Ikea. We can see why. Anjali loves using it. She likes to walk with it, take stuff in and out of it and even climb in it. This is her on her first day with it, about a week ago.

Words
Anjali is copying a lot of words now. Besides, Peekaboo, she copies "bless you" and liked it so much that she would fake sneezing just so that she could hear me say it and smile. She also has said "poop" and "hello" and I think some other words but I am not so sure like I am with those. She also has been playing peekaboo with SHE moving the curtain and hiding behind it, peering out when she was ready. This was so cute! We also got her a walker wagon which she has taken to and walks from the living room into the kitchen, sometimes stopping to talk to herself in the mirror.

Peek-A-Boo, by Anjali
I love giving my mama kisses. The night before, while I was playing before I went to sleep, I leaned over and gave her a kiss on her mouth. I love playing with her right before we go to sleep. She said "peek-a-boo" to me and I said it back to her. I could tell she was a bit stunned. She repeated it a few times but I just smiled at her. Yesterday, when my mama was telling my papa what I had done, she said Peek-a-boo to me again. And again, I said "Peekboo" back. It was so fast, my papa did not catch it. And of course, I wouldn't do it again. I am very smart and I understand lots of things that are said to me. More than people think.

Signing
Anjali finally hit her sign cluster! In the last few days, we have seen Anjali sign "more" at the dinner table, telling us that she wants more food. Mama saw Anjali sign "sleep" when Anjali saw mama lying down (she was supposed to also but was more interested in play). We have also seen "potty". This is so exciting as it opens up a whole other world of communication. The next set of words we decided on are tree, hurt, hungry, book, water, ball, play and light. Some of these we have added in already but now that the cluster is here, we can work them in earnest.
