Helping Papa Take Apart The Crib

Anjali, always the perfect helper, was accompanying Papa as he took apart her hardly used crib. Mostly, we used it to contain stuff, rarely to contain Anjali. It just looks like baby jail. Good riddence.

Haha! Anjali does not look happy behind those bars! I have a happy little jail bird, though. Don't ask me how. We do play puppets through the crib, and that has been a hit, but the sleeping in there just kind of happened. Like you, we are also purging our house of unnecessary baby items. Well, purging to a storage space. We are reclaiming our living space with things we all currently need. There are too many little-baby things that should be put away. I'm working on that....

ugh. i can barely find enough moments to hold it together for my kids at school. going through all our stuff and clearing things out has been on the list since day 1. just. can't. get. to. it. ...

part of it is all the stupid labeling. i have to go through and figure out actual size because i can't just go by the label. annoying.

I know everyone's different but I remember loving my crib! I actually still remember being in there. (I have a bizarrely good longterm memory!)

Fun little fact: I think Jeremy and I both used the same crib. My mom was just telling me that...

Babies who are breastfed and whose mothers work generally dont sleep in cribs. Most mothers would have to get up and go to the crib, nurse the baby and come back to bed at which point, they would be too sleep deprived before long. I dont know of any child who was breastfed for two years that slept in a crib.
